Origin
Why we started this record
Summitvale began with a straightforward frustration: a project would be announced with fanfare, a budget line would appear in a gazette, and then the trail would go quiet. Residents living near the site were often the last to know whether work had actually resumed.
We started keeping our own notes — dates, contract references, what a visit actually showed compared to what was published. Over time those notes became the tracker this site now runs on, open to anyone following a project in their state.
We are not investigators looking for scandal. We are a small desk that believes a plain, dated record is more useful to a community than a headline.
